Self-sabotage or SACREDNESS + freebie

I often find individuals self-sabotage in times of space or stress the result is too numb self from the stress or unknown threat of having nothing to do. Unfortunately this results in unaligned from SACREDNESS living.

However, with the right mind awareness and tools to jump into SACREDNESS living, SACREDNESS living can become first nature.

Firstly, I want to educate you about your mind.

In times of stress, the first thing your mind wants to do is stop you from feeling the stress, thus numbing is a great option for it. This will be a self-sabotaging act that may include scrolling, eating, partying, gossiping, self-isolating, over/under-exercising, drinking, shopping, etc. Stress may come from work, relationships, travel, internal body pain, etc. Then in times of stress, the body wants to turn off from it through the sabotaging acts. Thus, you do the act to dial out. In an ideal world you will not even have the stress, but, in this world the ideal situation is to have the stress and feel it, once the stress is complete  (ie the work or hard relationship conversation) you will allow yourself to transition into SACRED living vs numbing (and hence denying self-nourishment).

No, not alcohol, hibiscus tea. Yum! But, also, alcohol is okay if it’s part of SACRED living.

Another place I see people self-sabotage is in times of space and freedom in their days. Often, but not always this comes after a time of stress, numbing and then space or numbing and then space (but not always). For these situations, the space is a rare and unsafe place to be in as it is open for opportunities, self-discovery, SACRED living (see freebie below), greater alignment, and joy. However, all these things are commonly denied by our parents, teachers, communities, and friends. Hence, our mind tells us it is naught to enjoy space and freedom. Thus, we either create stress or numb it through sabotaging acts.

SACRED living is immensely fulfilling and rejuvenating to the soul. It is often joyful and very different from what society teaches us. It includes saying no to people, loving the emptiness in the space, and relishing in, inner peace and contentment.

So, with this knowing and new understanding I want to support you in SACRES living through these two simple reminders.

  1. Are you stressed?

  2. Do you have space?

If you are stressed, allow the stress to occur with mindfulness and gratitude (how good you get to work or travel). Then, when the stressful event is over choose a SACRED living activity (see freebie below) and jump right into your joy box.

If you have a free day or better yet you canceled your plans now is the perfect opportunity to choose a SACRED living activity (see freebie below) and jump right into your joy box.
