How to close a friendship

They say friendships are for a season, reason or lifetime. And I truly believe this to be true. But, when a friendship is for a season or reason, and the chapter has (currently) closed, it can get icky as to how to close it when one or both are holding on.

Here is a beautiful letter I wrote a dear friend of mine about a month ago when I identified the closing and distancing of the relationship, yet we both didn’t want it. On a side note, she did nothing wrong, we still talk with heart in public and I also did not want to delete the friendship because who knows where we both land and feel in future.

Also, while I would love to close a friendship in person, I personally felt a letter was best so that I could openly share all my feelings and not dumb down or confuse my truth with the emotions of the moment because of our beautiful memories and love.

Please use this letter as a template for when you are closing a chapter with a loved one. And remember, always be love to them.

Closing a friendship letter.

Beautiful (insert name),

I love, I loved and I still love your very soul, a soul of wonder, open-spirit-ness and courage. You are a traveler from mercury (I believe).

I want to celebrate and rejoice in our time together which was such a magical period for dance, teenager play, beauty and heart-shared longings together.

And now, I feel a change. Unsure what it is, I think its fair to announce the renewal of something special for us both - where what was, has come to a pause, re-direction or ending. 

My fellow sister, I want to see you call in your beautiful king, receive all your health and step into the career/passions you were born to pursue. But for now, for I and you to do this we must wonder down another path withbeings who accelerate our expansion. 

I am not closing this friendship, I am allowing it to be what it is. And if our souls reunite, I trust they will (with manageable upgrades that we both carried out along the way, leading our) or (as our) frequencies to become coherent and harmonised once again.

Please remember that you are capable of your hearts-longings, but, it is no longer time to long, its time to jump dear soul.
