Time to jump
When fear strikes, be brave.
When sadness wraps you, be vulnerable.
When anger envelopes you, stand down to stand up.
When hurt covers you, open wide.
When judgment weighs you, look to God.
When the past catches you, delete memory.
When confusion unravels, jump.
Brave soul, I see your yearning to share something unique. I know that there is something within your soul screening to be shared. I also see your tender and vulnerable heart that fears being seen. That fear of walking out into the public and allowing others to know you. I see you.
However, you are not alone. The bravest of brave souls battle these same trials, the bravest of brave angels fear the fight and the bravest of brave men also stand in the unknown. Only the bravest of brave are prepared to die, for they know what’s on their heart is worth it. They know that protection is more valuable than hiding, they know that sharing is more valuable than pretending, they know that error is more valuable than forfeiting and they know that winning is more valuable than never trying.
This may not be a war or battle, but rather a new relationship, new career, new haircut, new passion, new photograph, new place to travel, or whatever it is, the newness is the thing to be embraced.
All your inner words will concave into your mind telling you to stop, showing you reasons to give up and run straight back behind your start line. The body will even go as far as to make you physically sick to protect you, you might encounter an old setback, a ‘sign’ from a person to retreat and soften, or something else. But, brave soul, if it is on your heart it MUST be done. I repeat, it must be done.
For one too many days have ticked by where brave souls retreat into softness and forfeit into a mindset that says “This is who I am” or “I have tried and it has never worked, this is not my soul journey”. This is BULLSHIT. If it is on your heart, if you see clear signs that you keep reaching for this aspect or engaging in parts daily, it is time to engage COMPLETELY and JUMP into the joys.
Brave soul, it is time to jump.
Be brave.
Be vulnerable.
Stand up.
Open wide.
Look to God.
Jump.
Today is your day to be a little different, look further than yesterday and make a change.
